Does your child/teen struggle with unknown or new situations?
Does your child struggle to sleep on their own?
Do they fear attending school?
Your child demands that you be present and not leave them alone?
You find yourself saying "we can't because" and you are referring to your child or teens outbursts or demands?
Do they exhibit intense fear, aversion, or avoidance to certain situations or stimuli?
It feels like the family misses out on events because of one child?
Does your child exhibit symptoms of OCD or have repetitive behaviours or arbitrary rules they say they or the family need to follow?
If they are prevented from completing repetitive behaviours do they freak out?

If any of the above sounds like your child they may be struggling with anxiety.

Anxiety can be an invisible but formidable shackle, restricting your family's life in many ways. It erects daunting barriers, making simple tasks feel like insurmountable obstacles, and social interactions turn into exhausting battles.
It confines your child to the narrow confines of their comfort zones, limiting exploration, growth, and opportunities. As anxiety tightens its grip, it stifles dreams, undermines confidence, and leaves them navigating a world fraught with apprehension and self-doubt, often preventing them from fully embracing life's possibilities.
I can help!
How I Help Your Family Overcome Child and Teen Anxiety
If your child is experiencing general anxiety, phobias, separation anxiety, OCD, or school denial then SPACE can help you and your child reclaim confidence and growth.

SPACE is an acronym for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions. It was developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center. It is research backed and effective. The surprising part about SPACE is that kids aren't directly involved in the sessions, only parents. So If your child says they don't want to come no problem we can still help them get better.
